This is not any martial art teaching, neither is it a cardio-fitness training. It is a programme that focuses on teaching all ladies a set of effective and practical street survival skills, maximising every female chance to escape from virtually any assault. We do not teach our students to FIGHT, yet we teach them how to PREVENT being a victim and DEFEND only when being attacked.
Unlike sports-oriented martial arts, Personal Protection teaches one to develop a pro-active and vigilant mindset that helps you to appreciate potentially dangerous situations and take steps to avoid or deal with them before they occur. Should a life-threatening situation occur, one should know how to defend and escape using simple yet effective defensive techniques. We teach our students how to "hit smart", aim on those "highly sensitive" spots to attack in order to create the greatest pain to assailant and buy time to escape. Do not waste time "wrestling" with your opponent, prolonged fighting will only put your stamina into challenge and put your life in danger.
The programme will highlight the psychological, emotional and behavioural characteristic of criminals. Prevention measures available that should have been adopted by all female in order to minimise the chances of being attack will also be highlighted. You will learn to identify human body weak spots, use your body natural weapons and body weight to your advantage. Effective strikes, locks & grabs and other different form of restrain techniques and strategies to de-escalate a situation will be taught. It also includes the learning of using your everyday belongings such as umbrella, bag, magazine and keys as defensive weapons.
Expect to involve in some situational training or ground fighting, where you will learn how to defend, react and overcome your tension and tiredness under an attack. The programme will be able to harness your alertness to threat and enhance your body flexibility to defend yourself in emergencies. We highly emphasise building up your stamina and endurance as your never "give-up" mentality will determine whether you can escape or not.
This programme is suitable for ladies from all ages, regardless of your athletic ability.
Techniques that you gain from the programme will also help to minimize injuries happened in your daily life activities.

Female is different from their opposite gender in many ways. Techniques that are suitable for guy may not be effective for ladies. Hence, this programme emphasises how to exploit the female strength & power to overtake a male attacker who could be twice the size of her. We do not teach female “wrestling” with a male, yet you learn how to make full use of your strength and identify where are the vulnerable spots to attack in order to create the greatest pain to the assailant in the quickest way. |

Fun & Easy To Learn |

During an attack, the defender spontaneous action is most crucial. Hence, we do not intend to teach the students a whole new set of complicated movements and techniques, yet we put emphasis on strengthening human natural reflexes. It is not the same as any conventional martial arts, which require years of practising in order to master the skills. Students can master the techniques and tactics in a few lessons. |

Proven Effective Defensive Techniques On The Ground |

From statistic, 90% of attacks started from standing but more than 60% of them ended on the ground. In addition, 99% of sexual assault cases completed on the ground. Hence it is very critical for female to know how to defend and escape from lying position. Defensive techniques on the ground which include proper falling method, know-how to manoeuvre body on lying position and striking techniques are highly emphasised. |

Realistic-Based Training Method |

You can expect more attack simulation training than punching to non-moving targets or heavy bag. This is because our attacker is a moving target that knows how to react and counter our strikes where a dead heavy bag will not. Thus, we adopt a realistic-based training method which focuses on improving student’s flexibility, reflexes and alertness to threat. |

Fear Control Management |

Tension & nervous are inevitable during an attack. If you are not able to control your emotion, stay calm and react smartly during emergency, whatever techniques you have learnt are useless. Hence, fear control management will be highlighted in the programme. |

Mental Training |
| |
Endurance & perseverance training are highly emphasised. Injuries and pains are no doubt prone to happen in a fight, thus the student’s endurance level is very important to determine whether she will survive or surrender. The knowing of effective strikes and kicks, complement with strong mental power will definitely maximise her chances of survival. |
